For those who are acquainting themselves with Chemical SubstancesChemical Substances is an interactive register of chemical substances with their names in four languages, physical data including structural formula, risk and safety phrases, hazard symbols, instructions for handling and storage, transport instructions for the sender and the transport organizer including the possibility to print the transport instructions in writing, a selection of EC regulations for chemical substances and their handling, etc.
Comprehensive contents continually revisedThe web version of Chemical Substances is constantly supplemented with new substances, new facts and regulations concerning the field. Subscribers receive an updated database at least twice a year.

New log in
In connection with the introduction of Prevent’s new web-based Bookshop, the log in to Chemical Substances will be changed. Chemical Substances remain at the domain kemi.prevent.se, but the log in to the service will now be made via the Bookshop under the heading “Mina tjänster”. As a registered user of Chemical Substances you will not be able to use your old log in information as of the autumn 2009/winter 2010 but will have to get new information for your log in. If you act as contact for several users in your organisation please advise us regarding information concerning all users. The information needed is the following: - Your customer number - Company/organisation - E-mail address - Telephone number - Contact/your name - Desired password: Must consist of at least 6 signs (you can not use å, ä or ö). - Invoice address; If the old one is no longer valid.
